Benin
Development of a key visual for the exhibition *Benin – Stolen History*. The design was created to be adaptable across all promotional materials. The exhibition at MARKK (Museum am Rothenbaum, Hamburg) showcased artworks from Benin that were looted by the British during colonial times and have now been returned. The visual concept of tearing represents the theft of the artworks, while the act of piecing them back together symbolizes the efforts of reconciliation through the exhibition and the return of the pieces. However, visible cracks remain as a reminder of the lasting damage.
